LA CABANE DU POMMIER HOLIDAY COTTAGE

The location gives easy access to a wide range of rich wildlife habitats both locally and further afield including rivers and cliffs, meadows, marshland, oak, pine and mixed forest, heathland and arable farmland. There is a great diversity of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, moths, orchids and other flora and fauna to be found, many familiar to British visitors, whilst others are more exotic.

We provide a luxury base for exploring the region with all the materials you need for an enjoyable and successful holiday. This includes on-site information and advice from myself David Simpson, local butterfly recorder and author of ‘Birding Dordogne’.

I previously worked as a nature reserve warden for 20 years in the UK for various conservation bodies including English Nature and the National Trust.
